Suárez is the Drunken Master of modern football. When he’s running, it looks like he could fall over at any moment. His body feints are rather hard to predict. Stands well offsides for seemingly no reason. Why? What’re you doing there, mate? Gets irate, seemingly at random and totally uncalled for sometimes. Probably annoying as hell.

Then for whatever reason he reads the game so well, being in the ideal spot more often than not. His first touch is among the best in the game right now. He may have kneed that ball to the crossbar on purpose as a pass to Messi. Who knows? Even he doesn’t know for sure.

I know he’s not well-liked by some— and for good reason— but he does have a certain distinct talent. Not sure if anyone compliments Messi better than he does.
