Net City dabar atrodys kaip vargšai
Bokalo ekspertų pokalbiai apie futbolą

David Moyes was wandering around his local food shop when he spotted a chance to help people affected by the coronavirus pandemic. “There was a thing up in the window that said drivers needed,” West Ham’s manager says. “I volunteered to do it as my wife was away at the time and I was on my own. So I became a fruit and veg driver.”
There were perks to the jobs as well. One ride even made Moyes some money on the side. “I think it was £16.80, one box of fruit and veg. She gave me a £20 note and said: ‘Here son, just keep the change.’ It was an older lady. The tip!”
The Premier League stress they are committed to completing the season but also know that time constraints are working against them.
They are running out of time to get the remaining fixtures that teams have left finished - especially amid Government advice on social distancing and testing.
If they are unable to do so, then their options stand at potential play-offs or a points-per-game system.
Should it be necessary, to end the season in such a manner the Premier League would need 14 of its 20 clubs to agree.
16 clubs have nine games remaining, with Arsenal, Manchester City, Sheffield United and Aston Villa having 10 left to play.
Here’s what the table would look like, should the season be ended, with points-per-game being adopted:
1.Liverpool - 2.83
2.Manchester City - 2.04
3.Leicester City - 1.83
4.Chelsea - 1.66
5.Manchester United - 1.55
6.Sheffield United - 1.54
7.Wolves - 1.48
8.Arsenal - 1.43
9.Tottenham - 1.41
10.Burnley - 1.34
11.Crystal Palace - 1.34
12.Everton - 1.28
13.Newcastle United - 1.21
14.Southampton - 1.17
15.Brighton - 1.00
16.West Ham United - 0.93
17.Watford - 0.93
18.Bournemouth - 0.93
19.Aston Villa - 0.89
20.Norwich City - 0.72
As such Liverpool would be champions with the greatest ppg ratio in English football history, while Manchester City, Leicester and Chelsea would join them in the Champions League - providing City are successful in their appeal against a ban from European football.
Manchester United and Sheffield United would take spots in the Europa League group stage, with Wolves - dependant on the situation with the FA Cup - potentially heading into the competition's second qualifying round.
Arsenal would overtake Tottenham in the table and finish above their rivals for the first time in four years, but neither North London club would be able to bank on European football next term - unless City's Euro ban stands.
The situation at the other end of the table would be a major issue for the Premier League to solve however.
Norwich City would face relegation as the bottom side. Aston Villa and Bournemouth, in theory, would join them.
But Villa have played a game less and could potentially put up a legal fight.
Bournemouth too would have grounds to be unhappy given their ppg would be exactly that of Watford and West Ham; they could also argue having an easier run-in than either of those two clubs.
It is unlikely that either club's owners would vote in favour of the ppg system, but they would need five more clubs to agree to block any outcome.
Fuck this shit.
Top-level sport in England could restart behind closed doors from June 1 but spectators may not be able to attend venues until a coronavirus vaccine is found.
The government's road map for exiting the lockdown, imposed to limit the spread of coronavirus, was published on Monday afternoon, setting out the conditions under which various activities can be safely carried out.
Step two of the road map, which cannot begin any earlier than June 1, includes "permitting cultural and sporting events to take place behind closed-doors for broadcast, while avoiding the risk of large-scale social contact".
This will only be possible though if sufficient progress is made in limiting the spread of the virus between now and then, but the document entitled 'Our Plan to Rebuild: The UK government's Covid-19 Recovery Strategy' says that "organisations should plan accordingly".

Phect wrote: ↑12 May 2020, 01:31https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/foo ... reddit.comThe Premier League has agreed that player contracts ending on 30 June can be extended to the end of the 2019-20 season, whenever that may be, solving one of the biggest complications regarding the coronavirus-hit season.
