Ole Selnæs pagaliau pakomentavo tą transfero sagą iš savo pusės. Trumpai apibendrinus teigia, jog klubas daug dalykų išpūtė neproporcingai ir turėtų prisiimti nemažai atsakomybės. Atsisakė treniruotis nes sirgo, o ne todėl, jog norėjo forsuoti transferį. Pasak Ole, klubas norėjo išsaugoti veidą ir nepykdyti klubo gerbėjų jautriame žiemos perėjimų lango laikotarpyje, kai kovojama dėl vietų Europoje.

A case always has two sides and my version differs from that of the club to put it mildly. I took the reaction from the fans as an incredble compliment though. It isnt really possible for a leaving player to recieve a greater compliment. That they were angry and dissapointed actually my self esteem quite the boost. Its sort of funny.
